Malawi Orphans

Orphans in Malawi

ECPP (Malawi) will primarily be addressing the plight of Orphans in the Southern region of Malawi together with issues related to HIV/AIDS.

The fully staffed office is situated at Chitakale in the Mulanje district.

The Aims:

To work with local partners to provide quality care and support for Orphans between the ages of 0-18, whilst ensuring that they continue to live within their communities.

Objectives

To support Orphan centres with basic infrastructures e.g buildings, boreholes etc.
Provide Orphans with basic health care.
Provide Orphans with educational materials and equipment.
Support the Life Skills Resource Centres with equipment and training.
Support the Orphan centres in developing food security programmes.
Provide appropriate management and technical support to the service providers including volunteers.
Monitor and evaluate the activities provided by the different centres.
Ensure sustainability of the projects.
