- MALAWI - Fuel and diesel prices keep creeping up steadily. Since last month they have gone up by 1.5% and 1.4% respectively.
- MALAWI - Milling has started at Chambe Children's Oasis.
- MALAWI - All the piglets at Mpala died of swine fever.
February 13
- MALAWI - Since last year fuel and diesel prices went up by 14.4% and 16.2% respectively; beans went up by 6% and maize by 120%.
- MALAWI - The Vocational Training Centre at Chambe Children's Oasis has started their academic year. 23 students are enrolled.
- MALAWI - The college students are doing well and passing their courses.
- MALAWI - Heavy rains washed away bridges, the roads are heavily damaged causing vehicles to break down.
- MALAWI - One of our students who completed Purchasing and Stock Control is now working at a busy local restaurant managing purchases and stock control.
- MALAWI - Rosie, the pig at Mpala died of swine fever.

- MALAWI - Joan D'Souza interviewed students and staff for the new Vocational Training Centre at Chambe Children's Oasis.
- MALAWI - Colin Webb carried out maintenance on centre equipment mainly boreholes and assessed technical staff on equipment handling and safety.
